260 Nigerians Dumped In Algeria

About 260 Nigerian illegal immigrants were rounded up in Algeria and transported into the desert where they were dropped off. It seems the Algerian immigration officials have taken after the Europeans that have recently melted out the same inhumane treatment to Nigerians abroad.
Based on this, what should the Nigerian government do on this increasingly mal-treatment of Nigerians abroad. Illegal status does not mean death sentence because that is what they have been doing to Nigerians that are leaving illegally in Europe and now Africa.

One could not blame these people if not for the Nigerian government that allowed the mal-treatment of Nigerians abroad by keeping mute and doing nothing to address the situation. May be if they do it to one of their own then they will stand up and fight for what is right. That is if they are not cold cowards.

That's terrible news for all Nigerians. The Govt has to intervene and sort out the matter and ensure that it does'nt get repeated.

Some 260 Nigerians arrested by the Algerian authorities for illegally staying in that country have been dumped in the desert where their fate now hangs in the balance.

Those who managed to escape to Mali and Niger Republic said hundreds of them were rounded up in Oran and Tammarasett, both desert towns, in a raid carried out by Algerian immigration officials, and abandoned in Tizawarty, which is seven miles into the Sahara desert.

They have been exposed to inhuman treatment, just like other immigrants described as illegal; and that has resulted in deaths from lack of food, shelter, and water.

I bet the trustees see educating the children of illegal immigrants as ...... the west-end street gang whose members and associates were rounded up
