Armed Robbers Attacked Delta State Governor.

Yesterday, it was reported that Governor Emmanuel Udaughan of Delta State's convoy was attacked by armed robbers on the Benni-Warri highway, which led to the death of one of the governor's aides, a police officer, who was driving one of the vehicles.
This incident is the total summation of security situation in Nigeria. How can a governor's convoy be attacked by bandits? This is a disgrace to the country. How do we expect investors to come and invest if the people that governs are not even safe in their own country. Well, this is what we get when we do not invest in security. To borrow from a famous quote, "the chicken is coming home to roast".

Very rightly said. No security to anybody in this country.I feel the foreign investors are the bravest of all.

Nigerian security agents are keeping a watchful eye on Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan after identifying him as the main financier of hitherto unknown Niger Delta militant groups threatening to unleash mayhem unless the Federal Government halts its prosecution of former Governor James Onanefe Ibori.

Uduaghan is Ibori’s first cousin and a beneficiary from the former governor’s extensive looting of the state. Ibori handpicked him as his successor, and imposed him on Delta State in the massively rigged elections of April 14, 2007.

I am not suprised with the attack. This was waiting to happen. There is no such thing as security in Nigeria.
