I want to welcome all new members to this summit and say bravo to the existing members for belonging to this forum. It is really a priviledge for us to be able to express our views about our country.
Democracy to me should be a thing of joy after long years of dictatorship in the hands of the military but in nigeria, the word DEMOCRACY have alot of meaning. People see democracy as a money making avenue.
Democracy should briing smiles to the faces of people from grassroot to federal level. let people see why you are representing them at the corridor of power. as a political leader, you are to serve your people diligently and not stealing money meant for the development of your constituencies.
Let us create jobs for our able-body graduates how are wandering the streets of nigeria, our governments should create a conducive envirionment for us so that how people will stop running abroad in search for greener pastures.
Let us do it right so that everybody will benefit from the national cake.

Good stuff. I only hope that Nigerian politicians could emulate the way democracy is practiced in the Western World. Afterall, it is a western form of government.
