I know most people will chorus "YES" to this question. But the big question is this: How many Nigerian citizens have really seen the Nigerian Constitution? and ho doest it apply to and affect the daily lives of the comman men? Feel free to talk!

Of course Nigeria has a Constituion. The problem is that the constitution, unlike in the United States, is not easily acceesible to the citizens. In the U.S.,one can buy a copy of the constitution at any bookstore and it is pretty cheap.
It was F.D.R who said (not show about the exact quote;thus,i consider this as paraphrase): Treat the Constitution like your bible and carry it everywhere with you.

Even if we read the Nigerian constitution like a bible and carry ot wherever we go. Does the Nigerian government respect what is written therein? Do they have respect for human right?

The only reason they have not respected the constitution is the fact that the judiciary has not really stood up for the document. The judiciary has been politicized and therefore, become the leech dog of the other arms of government.

Apart from a minor amendment to the 1960 constitution in 1963, all constitution making review activities in Nigeria have been done by the military
