What are you talkng about? Even if Nigeria has a population of 500, security is essential for order in any society.

The security I think the Federal Government of Nigeria can give to the people of Nigeria is to provide the basic needs of the people. Don't forget, a nation that can not provide for the need of the majority of the people that are poor can not guarantee the safety of the few that are rich.

Security in Nigeria is a big issue. Just of recent, Delta state governor and his security entourage were engaged in a shoot-out with armed robbbers which left two of the security men injured and one dead.

Irrespective of the population of the country, every citizen of the land deserve the right to be secure;both internally and externally.
It is govt's utmost responsibility.

this age, security concerns form a crucial part of the policies of all governments. No matter the size or geographical location of a country, the eminent threat posed by international terrorism (individual and state-sponsored terrorism), and all other forms of criminality, makes it a priority that countries should ensure that sound security modalities are in place
